NATA accreditation ISO/IEC 17025 is an internationally recognized standard for accreditation which sets out the requirements for the competence of testing and inspection laboratories, thereby allowing companies to identify the best and reliable service providers.

Nav Labs (Aus) is NATA accredited for many areas in microbiological and chemical testing. The testing scope includes: Plate count, coliforms, Escherichia coli, Enterobacteriaceae, yeast and mould, Bacillus cereus, Campylobacter jejuni, Campylobacter coli, Clostridium perfringens, , Listeria spp., Listeria monocytogenes, Salmonella spp., Staphylococcus Coagulase producing strains and potable water testing for E.coli and coliforms by approved methods.

We are now NATA Accredited to Fat, Moisture, Salt and Ash for Flours; Meat and meat products; Mixed foods; Cereal products; Grains; Meat and meat products; Pet foods; Cheese; Butter; Dairy products.

We do test NIP with approved methods but all NIP tests are not in our NATA scope. Should you require a NATA endorsed report, please discuss this with Laboratory Manager before submitting a sample for testing.

We subcontract some testing to external labs when it’s not available in house.
